- On behalf of Malvern College we were instructed to sell the former Hillstone preparatory school in Malvern
- The site included a number of Georgian Grade II listed buildings with modern extensions including Ellerslie House a 4 storey building formerly boarding house and water cure establishment
- The site was within the Malvern Hills Conservation Area and benefited from a parkland setting on the eastern slopes of the Malvern Hills
Solution
- The site was offered for sale on a conditional (subject to planning) basis
- Planning prospects for the site had been established through a firm of planning consultants and anticipated uses included residential, care and retirement
- A comprehensive marketing pack was prepared to include all relevant information pertaining to the site and made available to interested parties
Benefits
- A sale was agreed, subject to planning, to Audley Retirement who are now delivering their Audley Ellerslie development
- The retirement development will deliver 101 properties within a village with on site restaurant and leisure facilities
