- The site was secured under an option agreement that required negotiation on the market value on behalf of the landowner.
Solution
- Fisher German provided expert advice on valuation and negotiation of the option agreement with Davidsons Homes.
- We had recently gained offers on another parcel of residential development land in the same settlement and therefore could provide comparable evidence on recent land sales to negotiate a higher land value on behalf of our client.
- We advised that the landowner instruct a Quantity Surveyor to assist in negotiating the developers cost assumptions with the development appraisal provided.
