Solution

  • Fisher German provided expert advice on valuation and negotiation of the option agreement with Davidsons Homes.
  • We had recently gained offers on another parcel of residential development land in the same settlement and therefore could provide comparable evidence on recent land sales to negotiate a higher land value on behalf of our client.
  • We advised that the landowner instruct a Quantity Surveyor to assist in negotiating the developers cost assumptions with the development appraisal provided.

  • Completion happened quickly after agreement of the price.
