Head of Minerals 01530 410859

Background and industry experience

William specialises in mining and quarrying matters, developing a minerals capacity for Fisher German to support both existing and new clients. He handles all aspects of mineral property issues, including their valuation, sale, letting and management. William has been appointed to the RICS President's Panel of Independent Experts, with a particular specialism in mineral and waste matters. In addition, he manages a number of rural estates for both private and corporate owners.

William joined the firm with twenty years' experience in estate management and minerals work, having worked at one of the major plc quarry companies where he was responsible for the management of its substantial property portfolio. As well as management, he was involved in acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property, including developing an innovative mineral sale and leaseback structure.

Out of work, William is a keen, if not particularly capable, sportsman and manages to avoid any involvement with his wife's and daughter's horses by playing golf in the summer and as a rugby referee in the winter.
