St Richards Lights of Love 2024 01

The final total for this year's St Richard's Hospice 'Lights of Love' campaign is an incredible £48,115.26 after costs. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the generosity and support of the community.

On Friday, 15 November 2024, hundreds of twinkling lights were lit in memory and celebration of loved ones during the annual 'Lights of Love' campaign in Worcester. Two heartfelt and uplifting services were held at Worcester Cathedral at 2.30pm and 7pm. The afternoon service featured the Kings Hawford choir, while the RGS Senior School Choir performed in the evening. Following the evening service, a procession to St Andrew’s Spire took place, where the Lights of Love tree was lit, accompanied by music from the Worcester Salvation Army.

Laura Clarke, Campaigns Fundraiser, expressed her gratitude, saying, "This is an unbelievable amount of money raised for hospice care so that we can continue supporting our patients, their families, and bereaved people in the Worcestershire community."

Partner, Jason Clines, based at our Worcester office said: “St Richard’s has been hosting Lights of Love events in Worcestershire for over twenty years, and we have supported this festive charity event for the last six years. Lights of Love resonates with me on a personal level as well as several of my colleagues and Fisher German wholeheartedly support St Richard’s Hospice and the extraordinary care they provide to individuals and families throughout the county.”

Laura added: “We extend a huge thank you to all at Fisher German for their continued sponsorship of this campaign. The team’s ongoing support alongside so many in our community is appreciated at a particularly challenging time for UK hospices like St Richard’s. Together we can continue to make the most of every day for patients and loved ones across the county.”
