Background and industry experience

Having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor over 15 years ago, Richard has since built up a wealth of experience in the profession. In the last five years, he has tended to concentrate on Estate Management, particularly in Cheshire and Merseyside. In addition, Richard also gets involved with any compulsory purchase and compensation matters that arise.

Richard is actively involved in the local branch of Agricultural Valuers, is a past President and is currently on the examination panel for the West Midlands and Wales Group.

Since moving to the Chester office at the time of the merger with Denton Clark in 2012, Richard and his wife and young son have purchased a smallholding in North Wales, which now takes up the majority of his spare time, tending the menagerie of livestock.
