Background and industry experience
Rachel is Fisher German’s ESG Partner, positioning FG at the forefront of developing and implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies.Rachel, who joined us in 2007 as a graduate, has spent her career within our infrastructure services division and has extensive experience in account management as well as managing infrastructure assets.
She has strong knowledge of the importance of green energy, the transition to Net Zero, and the ESG challenges businesses face. Rachel is also the current chair of the Pipeline Industries Guild (PIG), has governance experience and led the sustainability workstream in the Guild’s 2025 strategy
She actively mentors young professionals both within FG and via the Women Utilities Network , and champions Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in everything she does. Rachel is also a Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) ambassador in her spare time, championing careers in the industry to young people.
The newly created role will see Rachel advise clients on their ESG strategies, ensuring their property meets both legislative requirements and internal ESG targets.

he mobilisation of our land rights and property management contract as the sole supplier for a vital national energy network that provides secure energy to power Britain and achieve net zero.
