Background and industry experience

Peter had an interest in farming from an early age and started work on local dairy and arable farms in Leicestershire, where he grew up. He studied Agriculture at Newcastle University. After graduating in 2008, he took a year out travelling, which included working on a large arable unit in Australia.

He then embarked on a career in farm business consultancy, with an independent midlands based consultancy business, then moving to Fisher German in 2024 as Associate Director in the Agribusiness team.

Providing a range of farm management and consultancy services to clients from Hampshire to Northumberland. Peter particularly enjoys the business analysis side of the role, helping business develop with detailed business planning as well as constructing and managing contract farming agreements.

Family commitments permitting, Peter enjoys playing cricket, supporting Grimsby Town FC and can often be found on the riverbank.

Why did you join Fisher German?
I heard good things from people that work here and was keen to be part of a larger progressive business.

What has been your favourite project and why?
No one project. I enjoy a mix of farm management and consultancy roles and am lucky to work with some very innovative businesses at the forefront of the industry.
