Background and industry experience

Matthew is a Partner in our Worcester office. He benefits from a wealth of experience in rural consultancy, having spent 12 years managing traditional rural estates in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Matthew's client work also includes delivery of capital projects within the Infrastructure Services sectors. He also acts for an executive non-departmental public body, principally providing advice on land rights and compensation.

He lives in Worcestershire with his wife and two children.

Why did you join Fisher German?
When I came for an interview they came across as a progressive, commercial yet friendly firm.

What has been your favourite project and why?
Referencing the North Devon Coastline, a great summer job!

Top pastime?
Anything outdoors. I still enjoy getting my hands dirty.

Who would you like to be stranded in a lift with?
A lift engineer (not great in small spaces)

Favourite film?
Not that original but I did still enjoy The Shawshank Redemption
