Background and industry experience

Mary joined the Central Midlands team as a graduate in September 2016, having previously completed summer placements with the firm in 2014 and 2015. She works within David Merton's team providing estate management and consultancy services to traditional landed estates, with most of her work being located within the Peak District National Park.

She qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2018. In the same year, she qualified as a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, winning the Thomas Willoughby Garton Trophy for the highest written mark in the Midland Counties.

Mary grew up on her family's sheep farm in Cornwall. Her hobbies include swimming, baking and choral singing, as well as spending time at home on the beach.
