Background and industry experience

Julian is a Senior Associate Building Surveyor and manages a small team of surveyors at the Stafford Office.

Julian joined Fisher German in June 2021 to help grow the Building Consultancy business and specifically to develop the (already excellent) working relationship between Building Consultancy and our expansive Commercial and Rural Property Management teams.

Having qualified from Liverpool John Moores University in 2005, Julian brings almost 20 years' of experience as a Building Surveyor having worked previously with various commercial building consultancy practices in the Midlands and specialising in all aspects of Project Management and Professional service appointments. Julian lives in Staffordshire with his wife and two children.

Opportunity to work with a good-sized, diverse consultancy and to help it grow.

What has been your favourite project and why?
Clerk of Works on a multi-million pound housing scheme in Warwick. Watching such a large project emerge from the ground right through to completion was a hugely rewarding experience

Most admired, non-property brand?
Lego. It doesn't age.

Top pastime?
My kids, playing golf and coaching my son's football team!

Best holiday destination?
Sicily

One item to take to a desert island?
Swimming trunks

Who would you like to be stranded in a lift with?
I recently had to mastermind my own escape from one, so I would probably be ok on my own. Otherwise, Jurgen Klopp would be good entertainment.
