Background and industry experience
Jonathan leads on compulsory purchase matters for our South Central Region and has spearheaded the marketing of Fisher German's services both in the South and throughout the UK. His HS2 work has seen him give evidence to the Parliamentary Committee and a high success rate in service of Blight Notices and Need to Sell applications. Jonathan's work also encompasses expert witness, valuations and management advice, recent instructions including providing a portfolio valuation to a religious institution and detailed tenancy and valuation advice to a family trust. Jonathan qualified from Harper Adams in 2004, at first working in Essex where he gained RICS and CAAV accreditation before moving to Oxfordshire, initially with Carter Jonas. He has been with Fisher German since 2011.Outside of work, Jonathan spends time with his family at home in Oxfordshire. His great passion (some would say obsession), is for steam locomotives, with much time being spent following these around the UK and abroad. Jonathan is a steam locomotive fireman on the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway and is also known as the editor of his own railway magazine, Sonderzug.
