Background and industry experience
Helena moved to the Ashby office in 2016, having previously been based at the Stafford Office leading the property agency team. Helena now leads the valuation team from Ashby and undertakes valuations for a range of purposes including: secured lending, taxation and matrimonial. She has also carried out a number of portfolio valuations and specialises in the valuation of residential, agricultural and development property. Helena is an RICS Registered Valuer and was winner of the RICS Matrics Valuation Young Surveyor of the Year 2017.Helena joined the firm in 2006, after completing an English degree at Exeter University. On joining the firm, Helena commenced her Postgraduate Diploma in Surveying through the College of Estate Management and obtained MRICS and FAAV status in 2009. Helena is also a RICS APC examiner and CAAV examiner. She has previously held a position on the Midland Counties Agricultural Valuers Association Council and undertaken the role of AGM convenor for four years. Between her busy work and family life, Helena enjoys following her equestrian and music interests. She is a keen baker and is pursuing her interest in photography.
