Background and industry experience

Emily joined Fisher German as a Graduate Planner in July 2017, working within the General Practice Team.

Having graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BA in Human Geography including a placement year within the planning industry, Emily will continue working towards completing her MSc in Urban and Regional Planning and in the future is aiming to achieve chartered status.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys visiting places of natural beauty and historic interest. This is especially true within her home county of Derbyshire where she has also helped the community through various volunteering projects.

Why did you join Fisher German?
As a Graduate Planner, Fisher German offered me the opportunity to work within a rapidly expanding Planning Team in a leading national consultancy. Fisher German's ethos of providing a quality service to its clients through commitment, professionalism and entrepreneurialism was very appealing to my own values. Working at Fisher German has allowed me to take responsibility for a wide variety of projects early on and continue Graduate training, alongside a supportive network to become a Chartered Town Planner.
