Background and industry experience
Alex is the Landowner Liaison Officer on the Mainline Pipeline contract on behalf of Valero, in the Infrastructure Services Department. His time is predominately spent visiting Landowners, Tenants and Contractors who work along the pipeline route discussing safety and awareness. This includes advising and promoting safe working procedures in order to reduce the risk of accidents and near misses.After graduating from Harper Adams University College in 2002 with a degree in Agriculture and Crop Management, Alex spent 19 years as a Foreman on a large farm and contracting business in North Warwickshire, gaining a vast amount of knowledge and experience in the arable sector of agriculture.
Alex now lives near Lichfield in Staffordshire with his children. He enjoys family time and restoring his small collection of vintage tractors and machinery.
