Background and industry experience

Alex is a Chartered Building Surveyor, having qualified with the RICS in 2014, as well as an Associate at Fisher German. He undertakes all types of building surveys, including those for pre-acquisition, forward-planned maintenance, schedule of condition, party wall and dilapidation purposes.

Alex is experienced in the design and specification of new builds, refurbishment and conversion schemes for both domestic and non-domestic clients. This is along with overseeing the construction phase and ensuring the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations are complied with.

Alex lives in South Cheshire near Nantwich. In his spare time, he enjoys shooting, sailing and keeping his classic MG on the road.

I joined Fisher German because I was looking for a new challenge and to broaden my experience.

What has been your favourite project and why?
Rebuilding a substantial set of buildings which were heavily fire damaged.

Top pastime?
Trying to keep my MG on the road and in working order.

Cork, Southern Island for the sailing regatta
