Background and industry experience
Richard focuses on the purchase and sale of farms and rural property across the UK. He is part of the National Country Agency Team and operates across all the Fisher German offices co-ordinating and developing the rural agency business. His clients include a range of private and institutional clients, developers and charities. He also provides advice to clients and investors who are looking to purchase medium and long term strategic land across the country both on the open market and privately.Richard comes from a farming family in South Nottinghamshire. He attended Harper Adams University in Shropshire. Outside of work, he enjoys participating in a range of field sports including game shooting as part of a Leicestershire based syndicate, and fly fishing. He enjoys watching cricket and rugby, with an interest in the Leicester Tigers. He also sits on the Nottinghamshire committee for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution and is a member of the Farmers Club in London.
