Background and industry experience
Helen is a Senior Negotiator/Lettings Manager, being effectively the face of all thing's lettings for the Knutsford office and North West region. She is responsible for all residential letting related enquires, from estate properties to managed clients. This involves appraising properties, marketing and promotion, carrying out viewings and setting up the tenancy from start to finish. No two days are ever the same.Helen has been in the industry for 21 years, primarily in lettings throughout Cheshire and North Wales. Helen started her agency career in Wilmslow before moving on to Chester but has found her way across county to settle in Knutsford. Helen passed her ARLA letting exams in 2002 and NAEA diploma in Residential Sales in 2011. Originally from Wrexham, Helen now lives in Nantwich with her husband, two young children and Cockerpoo, Heston! Outside of work, Helen enjoys returning to her Welsh roots, walking in the Welsh hills and basking on the Welsh beaches. Unsurprisingly, she spends a lot of time in the Snowdonia National Park and on the Llyn Peninsular; her second home!
About me
When did you join Fisher German?
I’ve been with Fisher German since 2012.
Why did you join Fisher German?
Having worked for larger, similar firms in the past, I saw Fisher German as a growing company, leaving other 'stuck in their ways' firms behind in terms of progression. I joined, what was then a much smaller office and nine years on the staff in the Knutsford office has doubled in size and so too has the building. I'm very proud to have contributed to the success of the office.
What has been your favourite project and why?
It's so difficult to pinpoint just one project when there have been so many I have been involved in. The most rewarding lettings are the pretty chocolate box cottages on any one of the estates we manage. They attract a lot of interest; therefore they are time consuming and hard work but the personal reward I get once the tenancy is complete, is why I do this job. Sometimes I even get invited to sit in the pretty gardens with a glass of wine on a summers evening!
