Background and industry experience
Will joined Fisher German in the summer of 2016, taking up a position in the National Utilities & Infrastructure team. Since joining the U&I team in Ashby, he has qualified as an Associate Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and he is currently working towards his Central Association of Agricultural Valuers examinations. On a day to basis he works on a pipeline management contract looking after the needs of a large-scale client from the petrochemical transportation sector.After graduating in Agriculture and Crop Management from Harper Adams University, he worked directly in agriculture for a number of years before pursuing an alternative career path in rural surveying. He started his career with a chartered surveying firm in Oxfordshire, where he worked for a variety of clients from the utilities and infrastructure sector.
Having been brought up on a farm in Staffordshire and being a member of Young Farmers, Will has a keen interest in rural life and still plays a part in the running of his family farm. In his spare time, he enjoys training his spaniels, playing a bit of Sunday League cricket and following the rugby.

Why did you join Fisher German?
I was offered the opportunity to continue my surveying career in the utilities and infrastructure sector with a move from water industry clients to those operating in the petrochemical transportation sector. With a relocation back to the Ashby area on the cards as well, it was an opportunity not to be missed.
