Background and industry experience

Joy works as the Sales Manager for the Central Agency team working across the Staffordshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire regions. Previously Joy managed the sales team in Market Harborough looking after residential and rural sales from small cottages to country estates.

Prior to working for Fisher German, Joy worked in sales in London starting her career working for the studios at Channel Four and then becoming Head of Sales at an independant television company in Soho. Joy moved to the country when she started a family and in 2004 joined Strutt and Parker in Market Harborough as an applicant manager and then sales negotiator before moving to Fisher German in 2011.

Joy loves living in the country now with her two teenage children and three dogs, although she does enjoy the odd trip back to London to the theatre. Joy has recently completed a drama course in London and runs her own theatre company.

What has been your favourite project and why?
A recent sale of a property in the Welland Valley with 6 acres. I loved the house but mainly the location and the incredible views. It was a pleasure dealing with the vendor and the sale went through relatively smoothly!
