Head of Development 01530 567465

Background and industry experience

Ben has over 15 years' experience in development work and heads Fisher German's Development Sector. He also leads the National Strategic Development team, which was created to complement the existing Estate Management and Planning & Construction teams. Ben is a Partner based in the Ashby office, but works across the whole network of Fisher German offices. Ben specialises in advising on development matters with a focus on residential development. He advises clients on the various paths to development, including conditional contracts and strategic agreements, and undertakes development reviews for estate clients. He is heavily involved in development agency work and has disposed of landmark consented schemes all across the UK. His clients include estates, private landowners, charities, public sector bodies, institutions, national and regional house builders and strategic land promoters.

Ben has a young family and in his spare time, after giving up most competitive sport due to injury, now enjoys football and rugby as a spectator! He enjoys travelling and visiting new places with his family, both at home and abroad, likes to keep up to date with current affairs and is partial to finding new wines and IPAs when he has the time!
