We are delighted to announce that we have been ranked within the Top 100 Best Student Employers for 2024/25. This award is based on reviews left on the RateMyPlacement website by placement and summer placement students, as well as those taking part in our virtual ‘Insight’ training programme.
We have been ranked within the Top 100 for the last three years. In 2023 were ranked 30th at the National Undergraduate Employability (NUE) Awards.
Our official position will be revealed at the RateMyPlacement Awards final being held virtually on Wednesday 6 March 2024. The ranking table includes several categories based on the size of the placement intake and our position in the final table depends on the quality and number of reviews left by our placement cohorts.

We are pleased to have been ranked within the Top 100 once again. It shows that our placement and Insight programmes are delivering for the students who take part in them. They are a great opportunity to celebrate all the amazing achievements of universities and employers in work experience.”
Our virtual Insight programme is highly engaging and includes talks and presentations, networking as well as practical project work in each of our sectors. Applications have now opened for the next programme will take place between 25 and 27 March 2024.
We also offer paid summer placements for those wanting to get their hands-on surveying experience. The placements, for up to 12 weeks, are open to students in their first or second year at university or about to start a postgraduate course. Applications for our Summer Placement Scheme open on 11 March and will close at 5pm on 5 April 2024.
