A little over a month after relocating our office from Ironmonger Lane to Becket House on Old Jewry, we spoke with several colleagues to understand how the move has impacted our teams and clients. What is clear to see Fisher German's transformation from an established rural property agency based in the Midlands into a national independent powerhouse providing a comprehensive range of commercial, infrastructure and rural property services.

With a network of strategically located offices across the UK, we offer unparalleled national coverage while maintaining deep local knowledge to support our clients in achieving their goals. Our partnership-driven business genuinely cares about our clients’ success and has a vested interest in their outcomes. With nearly 200 years of experience, we provide exceptional, personalised service to over 10,000 clients.

In our investment team, Associate Ollie Deme explained: “Having a suitable London base is crucial for Fisher German as it places us at the heart of the UK’s economic and business hub. This strategic location lets us stay connected with established clients and key industry players. It also allows access to a broader client base whilst remaining at the forefront of rapidly evolving markets.”

“A larger office in London provides us with the space to host clients and conduct meetings and creates an agile environment for networking and collaboration. It enables us clients to experience our commitment to excellence firsthand, fostering stronger relationships and facilitating more effective communication.”

John Owen, Joint Head of Building Consultancy, said: “The London office is a pivotal element of Fisher German’s growth strategy. It enhances our visibility and presence in a key market, allowing us to tap into new opportunities and expand our service offerings. For my specific market, it means greater access to resources, a more robust support network, and the ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients in the capital and beyond.”

Partner Tom Norfolk, who leads our London Valuation team, added: “Raising our profile beyond our well-established reputation in the Midlands is essential for our growth. Investing in our London office significantly enhances our market presence, positioning us as property experts with both local knowledge and national reach. The move's significance and our expansion drive not only broadens our visibility but also underscores our ambition to be recognised as a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy across the UK.”

Eva Gascoigne, an associate in our London valuation team, shared her perspective: “As a young professional, being part of a dynamic and growing team in London is incredibly exciting. The move to Becket House has provided us with a modern, collaborative space that fosters innovation and teamwork. It’s inspiring to be part of our urban expansion, creating a unique blend of expertise that benefits our clients.”

Liam Carvalho, Senior Surveyor in our central London commercial transactional team, said: “Moving to Becket House reflects Fisher German’s aspirations to grow within the London market. It will allow the firm to engage with a broader spectrum of clients and stakeholders, enhancing our visibility and credibility on a national scale. This strategic move has positioned us as a key player in wider real estate markets, bridging our historic rural profile with urban opportunities.”

Partner Ed Moore, who works in our commercial transactional team, added: “Having an increased footprint in London is significantly raising our profile. We are demonstrating our commitment to being a nationally recognised property expert, capable of delivering local knowledge and expertise across the UK. This has not only attracted new clients and strengthened our relationships with existing ones, who appreciate our expanded reach and capabilities, but we are attracting new talent in our core markets.”

Laura Sutton, who joined us in April to help expand the industrial and logistics agency and consultancy services covering the South East, commented: “Joining Fisher German at such a pivotal time has been a fantastic experience. The new London office not only enhances our ability to serve clients in the South East but also supports the wider national business in the Big Box disposal and Occupier Representation markets. The varied client base and strong asset management and development expertise across the UK enable us to offer end-to-end services and explore new opportunities as we expand.”

Our Managing Partner, Andrew Bridge, added: "The move has marked a significant milestone in our ongoing development and expansion in London and the South East. The positive impacts we’ve experienced from this move and our investments in Birmingham and Manchester give us confidence we will experience further growth in these areas in the coming months and years.”
