Ashford Office 01

Since it’s opening in October 2022, our Ashford office has rapidly developed into a key for our operations, although our presence in Kent dates to 2013.

Originally a modest farm shop, our current location has evolved into a thriving business village. This transformation has provided the ideal setting for our office, which specialises in utilities and infrastructure work, offering property management and project services to clients throughout the South-East of England.

The office itself is welcoming and flexible, catering for the needs of colleagues and visitors alike. Nestled amidst scenic fields, the site boasts various amenities, including a range of businesses, a café and even a pub! The positive and vibrant atmosphere within the office is often described as infectious, fostering a strong sense of team spirit.

Our team is engaging in a variety of utilities and infrastructure projects, contributing to the UK’s net zero target by facilitating the connection of new low carbon energy generation and reinforcing transmission networks.

We provide comprehensive support on these projects, including land consultancy, advising on interactions with landowners, assisting clients in engaging other professional services and supporting legal teams as needed.

Graduate Surveyor, Emma Baldry, a Graduate Surveyor who joined us in August 2023, shared her experience:

"I began my journey with FG as a Project Coordinator and soon realised my interest in becoming a surveyor. The Ashford Office has supported my learning and development from the outset, enrolling me in a master’s program at the RAU shortly after I joined. One year on, Fisher German continues to support my professional growth by ensuring I gain diverse work experiences to build my expertise.

“The Ashford team is friendly, approachable, and excellent at teamwork. With members from various backgrounds, we are all learning and growing together, which has significantly strengthened our team. Located in the popular Evegate Business Park, we often enjoy payday lunches at the local micropub, providing opportunities to socialise outside the office. The team is very welcoming."

Daniel Kinslow, a Partner who joined us in October this year, explained his decision to join Fisher German:

"I chose to join Fisher German because of its strong reputation for employee development and its people-focused culture. The company's brand and reputation for excellence among clients were key factors in my decision. I wanted to be part of a company that consistently delivers high standards of service.

“The Ashford office has tremendous potential to expand its already robust portfolio of clients in the electricity and water industries. Supported by a dedicated team committed to outstanding service and continuous professional development, the office is poised for significant growth. The infrastructure sector offers numerous opportunities and workstreams, making this an exciting time to be involved. The office will continue to play an integral role in supporting the business's growth."
