Project summary
- The replacement of 400kV electricity cables along 308 pylons, between Plymouth and Exeter, affecting approximately 200 landowners
- Our role was to meet with all landowners and occupiers affected by the works, negotiate access and consult with throughout, being the key contact between our client and affected parties
Solution
- Producing plans marking access routes and working areas
- Discussing and agreeing any accommodation works required
- Discussing potential disturbances with occupiers and ways of mitigating these, including relocation of livestock or a business
- Negotiating and agreeing new wayleave agreements
- Agreeing and arranging reinstatement works
- Negotiating and agreeing compensation claims with agents and occupiers
