- On behalf of the Hereford & Worcester Fire & Rescue Service, Fisher German were instructed to sell the former Worcester Fire Station
- The imposing building fronts one of the City's busiest roads and occupies a site close to the High Street and the Cathedral
- The property extended to 26,920 sq ft and was built between 1939 and 1941. The building was not identified as a Heritage Asset but was located within the Conservation Area
Solution
- The property was considered to be suitable for a number of potential uses including hotel, leisure, office, retail and residential
- We undertook a marketing campaign creating a data room containing key information relevant to the building
- Marketing was conducted and once potential purchasers had been identified, we were able to negotiate the best possible terms on behalf of our client
Benefits
- A sale was agreed, on an unconditional basis, to Ashmill Developments
- The buyer planned to convert the property into a mixed use development with retail on the ground floor and residential within the upper parts
