The planning permission granted is for four traditionally built, post and beam chalets, providing luxury accommodation in a rural setting with mountain and river views, conveniently situated close to major visitor attractions. The buildings superstructure would be constructed from Western Red Cedar sourced from British Columbia and the material has already been sourced.

The design for each lodge features a varied number of bedrooms, private mountain view patio area (with hot tubs) en-suite facilities and room for super king-sized beds. The two family suites feature river views and sofa beds.

The current planning permission, reference DC/0/43805 provides for the erection of holiday accommodation comprising of 9 no. en-suite bed spaces and a 3 no. bedroom self-catering lodge together with associated landscaping. The development land is situated adjacent to the Tal-Y-Cafn pub in the Conwy Valley on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Access is provided by the A470 Llanrwst Road which connects to junction 19 of the A55 North Wales Expressway, 4.5 miles to the north. LLanwrwst and Betws-y-coed lie 6.7 and 11 miles to the south respectively.
