Work has begun on a new trade counter in Wolverhampton by one of Britain's fastest growing suppliers of tools, accessories and building supplies.
Commercial property agency Fisher German has let the unit between Selco and Screwfix on Wulfrun Trading Estate on Stafford Road in north Wolverhampton to Toolstation on behalf of owner IO Asset Management (IOAM).
The strategic Black Country location just three miles from the M54 plugs a gap in the Toolstation network between Cannock to the north; Walsall, Wednesfield and Great Bridge to the east; Brierley Hill and Kidderminster to the south and Shrewsbury to the west.
The 8,553 sq ft building offers a clear minimum working height of 6.1m and 7.3m maximum. Roller shutter doors provide vehicle access while the site is protected by palisade fencing and security gates.
Fisher German partner Duncan Bedhall, who negotiated the deal, said: ”This location is proving to be a real hit with trade counter and allied building supplies companies, so it was no surprise when Toolstation looked to fill a space in its geographic coverage.”
Toolstation opened in 2003 to supply the trade, home improvers and self-builders online or via a mobile website, through a dedicated UK call centre and from hundreds of branches across the UK, open seven days a week.
It offers 11,000+ stock products including tools, electrical, plumbing, screws, fixings and other trade essentials.
IOAM is a real estate asset and investment manager with a strong heritage in the UK Industrial sector.
