Project summary
- Fisher German (FG) were instructed by Valero to carry out maintenance work across their pipelines in South Wales.
Solution
- Our team are highly experienced in responding to and resolving emergency work.
- Upon receipt of notification from the client of damage to an M28 and M4 marker post as the result of a road traffic accident (see above image and figure 1), appropriately trained staff were identified and promptly dispatched to the site.
- Staff arrived for an initial inspection within two hours of notification.
Benefits
- Upon completion of a primary risk assessment it was agreed that due to the poor weather and road conditions, the repairs would be delayed until conditions improved at which point the works were prioritised in accordance with the client risk matrix.
