The Team & Focus of the Role
Our Valuation team is growing, and we’d love to welcome you to the friendly and ambitious team.
We are looking for an experienced Valuations Surveyor to join, you will be working closely with many of our teams with a focus on residential & rural valuations.
We’re looking for self-starters who have the drive to put their clients at the heart of everything they do. Whether you’re focused solely on valuations or have exposure to compensation work we would love to hear from you.
This is ideally a full-time (37.5 hour) role, 9am – 5.30pm however we’re open and encourage applications for individuals who require a flexible working pattern or reduced hours (30 hours minimum).

Duties will include:
- Valuing a range of town and country residential and rural properties. Experience of valuing agricultural properties is beneficial but not essential
- Producing Red Book compliant reports for purposes including tax, secured lending and negotiation purposes
- Acting for parties with claims for overage on property with planning uplift
- Handle tenders and fee proposals for new business
The successful candidate will have...
- A minimum of 3 years’ post qualification experience in a similar role
- Ability to manage, develop and motivate team members
- A full driving licence
- Excellent organisational skills and time management skills. The ability to prioritise own workload effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- High awareness and concern for customer service requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and within specific agreed fees
- Proficient in a wide range of computer applications
- The ability to negotiate with people at all levels
- A good team player whilst being an effective lone worker
- A positive attitude able to think creatively to find solutions
- A “can do” attitude to customer service and work delivery
- Driven and motivated to succeed
