Our Property Management & Consultancy division operates on a national scale, utilising specialised local knowledge. We work closely with our clients' assets, tenants and contractors. What teams can you work in?
Key Information
Our graduate programmes are designed to help candidates achieve their RICS qualification within two years of joining Fisher German. As a new team member, you will receive full support throughout your training and professional qualifications, with a dedicated Supervisor and Counsellor. If you are following the surveying route, you will also have access to an APC Doctor who will meet with you throughout your qualification period.
Cognate graduates begin their APC upon starting at Fisher German, with the expectation to sit their APC within 18-24 months. Typically, graduates gain their hours and competencies within 2-3 years.
Non-cognate graduates are expected to enrol in a Master's Degree or Master's Apprenticeship concurrently with their APC, studying for both qualifications throughout the two-year period.
We welcome placement and graduate applications from all universities and courses, including those not accredited by RICS or RTPI, or unrelated to property and surveying. To support this, Fisher German will sponsor a part-time RICS or RTPI post-graduate degree for non-cognate graduates enabling full chartership with either organisation within optimum timescales.
Transferable skills from non-cognate courses that suit our graduate roles include:
- Confident communication
- Strong relationship building skills
- A positive can-do attitude
- Genuine interest in property/surveying
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Forward thinking with strong attention to detail
Our approach to hiring is that we like to focus on what Early Careers talent can bring to us in the form of soft skills, and demonstration of a commitment to a career as a Chartered Surveyor/ Planner. We won’t ask you to complete psychometric tests, or full day assessment centres.
We ask you apply by sending us your tailored CV and covering letter (as one document) explaining why you would be suited to a career in surveying/planning. If you are successful in your initial application, the following stages will follow an interview style format.
Graduate applications close on 13 November 2024.
FG has an excellent APC process as a graduate which provides a really good structure when entering a new career. I have felt very supported along my journey, Fisher German provides a role for everyone and continues to grow as a business which is brilliant to be a part of.
