Background and industry experience

Matthew joined the firm in September 2016 after graduating from the University of Reading with a degree in Rural Land Management. Originally from Essex, Matthew has a keen interest in all aspects of rural life and has continued with these interests after moving to Leicestershire. He enjoys a range of sports which include shooting, sailing and skiing, and more recently, has been heavily involved in Leicestershire Young Farmers since moving to the area.

Matthew is part of the Market Harborough Rural Team, with a focus primarily in Estate Management for a variety of Clients and landowners. In 2018, Matthew became a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers, and subsequently qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019.

Most admired, non-property brand?
Apple. They have a very simple marketing strategy, however, over the last 20 years, have dominated the mobile phone and technology markets, knowing their target audience.

Top pastime?
Enjoying a quick drink with friends and family down the pub

Best holiday destination?
Val d'Isere or anywhere with some snow!

One item to take to a desert island?
A bucket and spade to pass the time!
