The Team & Focus of the Role

Would you like to join our established and driven Agribusiness team in Market Harborough? The team in this office serves our farming clients across the East Midlands and the team are part of a close-knit network across the UK to deliver exceptional results for our clients & ensure their farms and estates are being managed to their maximum potential. 
 
We’re looking for a new member of the team to join us and help deliver our high standard of service to clients.
 
This is a permanent full-time position on a 37.5 hour contract (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm). We operate a hybrid working policy.
 

In return, beyond your base salary you will be included in:

• A discretionary bonus scheme
• A generous holiday scheme which commences at 25 days with a sliding scale up to 30 days plus your birthday off and two extra half days allocated for Christmas Eve & New Years Eve

Duties will include:

• Basic book-keeping and data analysis
• Assisting with subsidy claims, including environmental schemes
• Liaising with contractors and suppliers
• Assisting with preparation of budgets and cashflows
• Maintaining records for farm assurance and compliance
• Basic mapping
• General administration
 

The successful candidate will have...

• A relevant bookkeeping qualification/training (desirable)
• An interest in agriculture
• Great organisational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong numeracy skills
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel
• The desire to learn
• Excellent people and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
• Full clean driving licence
 
Full training will be provided for relevant systems and procedures.
